Kate O'Brien Weekend & John B. Keane's the Field

Good bit of positive response to last week's show, particularly the items on the Listowel Film Club and the Kerryníní night in Tralee. Feedback always welcome, and feel free to post your impressions of the site and the show. Lined up for this weeks show, the 40th since it started last May, we will be having;

-Interview with Limerick City Arts Officer Sheila Deegan on the upcoming Kate O'Brien Festival (24-26 February)
-Feedback from the massively popular production of 'Big Maggie' by the Abbeyfeale Drama Group
-Film review by Ed O'Connor of 'The beat that my heart skipped', a French film that played at the Listowel Film Club last week
-Live Interview with members of Ardagh Drama Group, who will be performing John B. Keane's 'The Field' this year

A good old mix if I say so myself, so make sure to tune in at 6.00 Friday evening to your non-profit community radio station West Limerick 102 FM. Tá súil agam gur bhainfidh sibh taitneamh as an gclár.

in view of what happened in Dublin at the weekend, should this years Patrick's Day parade in Abbeyfeale be cancelled? For fear of being hijacked, excuse the pun, by SF/RSF/IRA elements.

Yours….
